These are the checks for the month of March 1998 for which there was no statement. I requested the statements and checks as I wanted to see how the money I had managed for over 10 years had been spent. I found that in one years' time over $40,000.00 had gone to health care nurses and renovations so that wheel chair access could be maintained in bathroom and in and out of the house. You have to think of just how much you are willing to spend to bring an elderly loved one into your home and if you have the money to care for them. Although I maintained a reasonably active life for over 10 years while at the same time maintaining an equal to the money invested balance in the Payne Family Trust, it weighed heavily on me to see it all disappear so fast. Not saying that it wasn't worth not to have my mother lying in a nursing home cared for by people we didn't know, but again, think twice before doing it.

Speaking of Threez - I want you to look at the one below. This clock was originally a grandmother mantel clock and it's face and works are well over 200 years old. It was put into a cherry grandfather clock by my uncle Doug Wilson. Notice the numeral 3 (three). It actually looks more like a 5 (five). I wonder if this was on purpose or by mistake.
