and Related Families and was posted by Susan Dailey Johnson who says: “this photo was given to my daughter by Allie
Myers Dalton, granddaughter of Andrew Jackson Livesay
and Allie McGinnis. Temperance Livesay was born 1859
and she died in 1890 and her husband JL Myers died in 1891. Allie Myers was
raised by Andrew Livesay and Allie McGinnis and is
found on the 1900 Census in their home. (Edited to add his full name of Andrew
Jackson Livesay)”

Dec 14, 1881 at Hancock Co., Tennessee, USA, married (180) George LIVESAY, son
of Andrew
Jackson LIVESAY and Alla MCGINNIS, who was born
Sep 24, 1856 at Hancock Co., Tennessee, USA. Elizabeth Slaton died on Feb 14,
1957 at Knoxville, Tennessee, USA and was buried at Greenwood Cem., Knoxville, Tennessee
A
copy of an original picture of Rial Johns (1812-1898)
and Martha Slaton Johns (1817-1878) sent by Karen Hedrick. Karen also descends
from Joseph Johns, son of Rial and Martha but through
another wife Lydia Hays/Hase. Rial
Johns died at Ivy Ridge, Flat Gap, Tennessee.
John Freeman LIVESAY was born May 14, 1893 in
Tazewell, Tennessee, son of George Livesay and
Elizabeth (Slaton) Johns Livesay. He married Victoria
MILLER who was born Feb 26, 1913. John Freeman died on Nov 30, 1945 in
Knoxville, and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery
William
Harmon Johns, son of Joseph and Eliza Wolfe Johns. William Harmon would be a
nephew to my GGrandmother. There was only 3 years
difference in age though. Martha Alice Slaton Johns was 46 years old when her
last child, my ggrandmother, was born. She lived
another 15 years.
