The Graham-Kivette House, built circa 1810, is the oldest home in Tazewell and one of only a few buildings that survived a disastrous fire in 1862. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the East Tennessee Preservation Alliance has this home as #4 on the Ten Endangered Heritage List.
The Claiborne County Chamber & ECD Foundation have taken over responsibility for the property, and want to restore the building and grounds back to its original state.
