These records are from the period before the Treasury Department transfered it's prohibition unit to the Department of Justice because of the problem the Treasury had with prosecuting offenders of the Prohibition Act. A notable raid that was headed up by my grandfather during this period was the raid on the Pendennis Club. I included a 2009 Pendennis Newsletter with an entire section dedicated to that raid.
