Subject: Big Sycamore Creek

Dear Joe,
Just got off the phone with David Harrell, with the TVA team that works
on the Clinch River. He says that all TVA lands on the Big
Sycamore are zoned with 3 or 4, which means, generally, that those
lands are intended to be managed for wildlife habitat and will not be
subject to selling or development.
This is documented in the 2001 Norris Reservoir Land Management Plan,
which is available at your local public library. It may also be
on the TVA web-site.
Please feel free to call David at 865.632-1327, to discuss this
further.
Also, I encourage you to write of your concerns to TVA Chairman Bill
Baxter. TCWP strongly advocates that public lands should stay in
public hands.
This message cannot be sent too frequently to the TVA Board.
Finally, thanks so much for visiting the TCWP website and please feel
free to add our link to your website.
