Funeral home records indicate Pleasant is buried in Fowler but I can't find a marker. Cemetery records indicate he and Cassie are in Spurgeon Cemetery in unmarked graves. Cassie was the daughter of W.M. and Liza (Evans) McCarter. Brown Funeral Home records list Pleasant's birth as 11 Mar 1872.

Flora's a sister of Theodore who wed Delia Shults. Carson's birthdate is from his headstone - he wasn't in the 1880 census, must have been born later than what's shown here. Carson's granddaughter, Nancy Lunsford, has a family Bible that has a birth date for Carson of 4 Feb 1882. The dates in the Bible generally don't agree with either headstone dates or census record dates for the family members.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Lemuel Jobie and Nancy J. (Etherton) Parrott and a sister of the William Henry who wed Vadie. Brother and sister wed sister and brother. Elizabeth married Hollis Manning after Charles' death.

Her name was probably "LouVada" and Vadie was a nickname. Dates here for her birth and marriage are questionable. William was the son of Lemuel Jobie and Nancy J. (Etherton) Parrott and a grandson of Job and Lucinda Parrott. He had a second marriage to Edna Finchum after Vadie's death.
Her Death Certificate lists her name as MALINDA and her birth year as 1883!
