of George Campbell of Claiborne Co., TN. John lived 20 some years as a youth
and young family man in Claiborne Co. He left there in 1828 for Illinois,
Iowa and Missouri. He had brothers Joseph and Rice and half-brother
Claiborne. About 10 years ago
I visited a bit with Roger Whitaker at the Tazewell Post Office. He appears
