      NOTE 1: Emilia is an Olde English version of Emily and was a character in Shakespeare’s Othello

      NOTE 2: Thomas Bledsoe b. 1768 the brother of Abraham Jr. b. 1769 also had a son named

                      Isaac R. b. November 30, 1788.  They are often confused with each other.

 

Hiram E. Payne, after his first wife Mary Polly Hiram Anderson died, married on Dec 10, 1863 in Scott Co., Va., Keziah BLOOMER, daughter of Nehemiah BLOOMER and Mary Polly BLEDSOE, who was born July 24, 1834 in Scott Co., Va.. Mary Polly BLEDSOE was a daughter of Abraham Bledsoe, Jr.

             May 4, 1805 Sumner Co, TN.  They are often confused with each other.

*Along with brothers Anthony and Isaac accompanied Daniel Boone explorations and hunts into

*Served as Captain in Colonel  Evan Shelby’s Regiment during Revolutionary War.

Ed, George the emigrant's father was NOT William Bletsoe (wife Agnes Cobb) as you have it in your message. That is totally wrong.  That comes from years ago people guessing and assuming and is WRONG.   George's father was Lewis Bletsoe (wife  Isabel Pridmore)   It's in my books.  This was proven several years ago.
