was born in 1652. 
John died in 1701 in North Farnham Pr, Virginia, USA.
Children:
1   Elizabeth2 PHILLIPS was born Dec 3, 1674 in North Farnham, 
    Old Rappahonnack, Virginia, USA, and before 1701, married
    COLLINS who was born about 1670 in Virginia.
2   John PHILLIPS was born Dec 23, 1676 in North Farnham,
    Old Rappahonnack, Virginia, USA.  John died in 1715 in
    North Farnham, Richmond Co., Virginia, USA.
3   Bryant PHILLIPS was born Feb 13, 1677/1678 in North 
    Farnham, Old Rappahonnack, Virginia, USA.
4   Mary PHILLIPS was born Oct 7, 1681 in North Farnham,
    Richmond Co., Virginia, USA.
5   Thomas PHILLIPS was born Oct 27, 1684 in North
    Farnham, Old Rappahonnack, Virginia, USA.  Thomas died on Nov 1, 
    1739 in North  Farnham, Richmond Co., Virginia, USA.
6   Tobias PHILLIPS was born on Jul 12, 1687.
    Anne PHILLIPS was born Sep 23, 1690 in North Farnham,
    Richmond Co., Virginia, USA. 

Although the above family can be documented by North Farnham Parish 
Registers 1663 -1814 Records there seems to be indication they are 
connected to earlier Lancaster Co., Va Phillips families.  
Mike Goad has put a many files that point towards this 
on Rootsweb Server:

"John and Eve Williams Sale of Land to John Phillips, July 1, 1678"

John Phillips "Will of Ann Simpson,
Mother-in-Law of John Phillips, August 24, 1685; Probated June 1690"

Another file Mike Goad has documented there is "Will of John Phillips
of Lancaster County VA, Jan 30, 1689/90"

Anne Phillips was found on "Bond of Anne Phillips, Abraham Goad, 
and Robert Reynolds for Inventory of the Estate of John Phillips, 
July 7, 1714"

This leads to more speculation of the family of Phillips in the early 
history of Virginia and the American Colonies.
